Kitty Broihier, MS, RD, LD

Go Wild with Kit!

Kitty Broihier, MS, RD, LD is the Nutrition advisor and spokesperson for the Wild Blueberry Association of North America. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a Masters Degree in Nutrition and is the owner of NutriComm Inc., a food communications consulting company specializing in nutrition communications.

Ms. Broihier received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Communications from Boston University.

She is a co-author of several cookbooks, the most recent of which is Everyday Gluten-Free Slow Cooking (Sterling, 2012). Previously on the editorial staff at Good Housekeeping magazine, Ms. Broihier is the author of many magazine articles, and contributes regularly to a variety of national and regional publications and blogs.

Kitty is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), where she belongs to several Dietetic Practice Groups. She served on the Board of Directors for the Maine Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for 20 years, including two terms as President. A mother of two young adults, Kitty lives in Lisbon, Maine with her husband, their cat Smudge and Golden Retriever, Maisey.
