She is a co-author of several cookbooks, the most recent of which is Everyday Gluten-Free Slow Cooking (Sterling, 2012). Previously on the editorial staff at Good Housekeeping magazine, Ms. Broihier is the author of many magazine articles, and contributes regularly to a variety of national and regional publications and blogs.
Kitty is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), where she belongs to several Dietetic Practice Groups. She served on the Board of Directors for the Maine Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for 20 years, including two terms as President. A mother of two young adults, Kitty lives in Lisbon, Maine with her husband, their cat Smudge and Golden Retriever, Maisey.
