Wild Blueberry Purple Power Smoothie
½ cup cooked, cubed sweet potatoes, cooled*
½ cup frozen Wild Blueberries
2 leaves red Swiss chard (or other greens)
1 tablespoon flax seeds
¼ cup beet juice
½ cup plant-based milk (i.e. soy, almond, or hemp)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger
1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
frozen Wild Blueberries
*Cook sweet potatoes the day before and chill; or microwave, cubed sweet potatoes with a small amount of water for about 8 minutes in a microwave proof dish.
- Place all ingredients in a blender container and process until smooth.
- Add maple syrup for sweetness.
- Pour into glass and garnish if desired.
- Serve immediately.
